The 2023 edition also places greater emphasis on software-related aspects, includes adjustments concerning procurement activities in process elements P3 and P4, and revises the definition and allocation of questions marked with particular significance. In addition, guidance relating to remote and hybrid audits has been incorporated, and the content has been aligned more closely with related VDA approaches, including Automotive SPICE and the Reifegradabsicherung für Neuteile (RGA) methodology.
