QMatrix X-Mas Event in Leipzig
This year, our Christmas celebration took us to the charming water city of Leipzig. The day kicked off with a special highlight: a mulled wine boat tour departing from the city harbor, giving us a unique perspective of the city from its waterways. Afterwards, we explored the Leipzig Christmas Market and indulged in local treats, including potato dough rolls and freshly baked Kräppelchen.
To warm up, we enjoyed dinner at the historic Auerbachs Keller. Famous since Goethe’s time for its classic Saxon cuisine, the traditional restaurant delighted us with a generous selection of delicious dishes. After a leisurely stroll back to the hotel, we ended the evening at the rooftop bar, enjoying a nightcap and breathtaking views over Leipzig at night.
The following day, we visited the VW plant in Zwickau, a dedicated electric mobility site. Spread across 1.8 million square meters, equivalent to 252 football fields, the plant produces models such as the ID.3, ID.4, and Cupra Born. After an insightful tour of the facility, we headed off into a well-deserved weekend.
It was a truly memorable Christmas celebration, full of lasting impressions, fascinating insights, great conversations, and wonderful shared moments. Looking forward to creating even more great memories as a team!
