Bernhard is joining the QMatrix Group as Senior Quality Consultant, bringing more than 20 years of extensive experience in quality and supplier management. His focus lies on sustainable process optimization within the automotive industry as well as mechanical and plant engineering.
Throughout his career, he has built broad and in-depth expertise, particularly as an IATF 16949:2016 First- and Second-Party Auditor, a VDA 6.3 (2023) process auditor, and an expert in the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG). He also brings strong capabilities in CAQ systems and their application in complex industrial environments.
His technical expertise spans a wide range of manufacturing processes, from machining operations (turning, milling, drilling, grinding, honing, EDM) to casting and forming technologies such as aluminum and magnesium die casting, thixomolding, and steel casting, as well as plastic injection molding, painting processes, bending, stamping, and deep-drawing. This is complemented by solid knowledge of welding and joining technologies as well as industrial forging processes.
In leadership roles, Bernhard has consistently demonstrated his expertise across supplier quality, quality engineering, and corporate quality management functions.
With this combination of hands-on experience and strategic insight, he will support the QMatrix Group in strengthening quality management, supplier development, and process optimization.
