QMatrix Christmas party 2024: an unforgettable team event in Esslingen
Our team events are a highlight that all employees look forward to every year. Precisely because our colleagues are involved in projects most of the time, these meetings offer a valuable opportunity to spend time together, have fun and exchange ideas away from the daily work routine.
This year we went to Esslingen. After arriving at the hotel, we made our way to the picturesque old town on foot. There we explored the historic city center on a guided tour. The church windows, which are among the oldest in the region, were particularly impressive.
The medieval Christmas market in Esslingen was an absolute highlight. Here, medieval traditions merge with Christmas magic: craftsmanship, jugglers, music and food make the market unique. The mulled wine was of course tested and approved!
Afterwards, we went to a Mexican restaurant for refreshments and to warm up. There we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, laughed a lot and tasted fajitas, burritos and other delicacies. The evening offered plenty of space for relaxed conversation and a cozy get-together before some colleagues rounded off the day with a game of pool.
After a hearty breakfast the next morning, another highlight was on the agenda: a visit to the Mercedes-Benz Museum. During a guided tour, we delved deep into the history of the automobile and learned exciting details - including the origin of the name “Mercedes”.Did you know where the name Mercedes comes from?
Afterwards, we headed home again in all directions, with many wonderful memories in our luggage.A big thank you to everyone who was there - you make such experiences special and we are already looking forward to the next meeting!
